Brad Abramson comes to Prague to present „VH1 Rock Docs“!

The fifth annual festival will be held from the 16th to 20th of October at Lucerna, Světozor and Evald cinemas. Brad Abramson, the executive producer of the successful  „VH1 Rock Docs“ series of the American cable TV channel VH1, has accepted an invitation to the festival! Adamson studied journalism and worked as a reporter for CNN and TBS. His projects have won many awards. Among the most significant was the 2007 News & Documentary Emmy Award for his doc „DMC: My Adoption Journey", under the category of outstanding artistic and cultural programs. In 2006, he became one of the founders of „VH1 Rock Docs“

Lifetime Achievement Award Will Go to Pete Seeger and Marta Kubišová

The 5th annual MOFFOM festival, which will focus on New York City, will be held from the 16th to 20th of October at Lucerna,  Světozor and Evald cinemas. This year, the festival will award the American folk songwriter and activist Pete Seeger and singer/ actress Marta Kubišová, who has become a symbol of the Velvet Revolution, for their lifetime achievements.

The international festival of music films is preparing many new surprises!

The 5th annual MOFFOM festival will be held from the 16th to 20th of October at Lucerna,  Světozor and Evald cinemas. Fifty documentary films will have their Prague premier, with a focus on New York City and introducing a new section called „Planet MOFFOM.“  Additionally this year, a professional jury will evaluate and choose the best among twelve competing  entries. Tickets will be on sale starting from September 15th on the TicketPro network!

The festival will present 50 films, each making their debut in Czech cinemas. This will be a unique, behind the scenes look at the world of musicians like  Joy Division, Bob Dylan, Gogol Bordello, Sigur Rós, Pete Seeger, KISS, The Who, James Brown, Brian Wilson and many more!
