Live from New York- the Metropolitan Opera in HD, at Kino Aero

Premiering December 15, Kino Aero will present the first in a series of 8 simultaneous broadcasts from New York's Lincoln Center- home of the world renowned Metropolitan Opera. Shown live in HD this is the ultimate opera-cinema experience and MOFFOM is a proud partner of the series presented by Kino Aero and Aerofilms. We are happy to announce that New York, the world capital of culture will be celebrated in 2008 as a special focus for MOFFOM. More details will follow on NewYork-related music films to be shown in the coming year. As a unique audiovisual project, The Met in HD is an innovation not only for Prague, but also for MOFFOM, which aims to include more live and performance-based programming in the future. The first in the series will be Gounod's Romeo and Juliet with the role of Juliet sung by the young sensation Anna Netrebko.
