MOFFOM at Střelecký ostrov

MOFFOM continues its series of summer events with an open-air screening of the Beastie Boys concert documentary Awesome...I Shot That! at Střelecký ostrov, Tuesday August 14.

First shown to Prague audiences at last year's festival, the film is one of the most visually exciting and authentic recordings of the concert experience ever attempted. Awesome...I Shot That! transcends the inherent limitations of the arena performance film by literally placing the means of production into the hands of the consumer. Fifty cheap, lo-fi cameras were distributed to random spectators at the homecoming concert of their 2004 "Challah at Your Boy" tour, held in New York's Madison Square Garden.

Awesome... will be shown at the open air cinema at Střelecký ostrov with Czech subtitles.
