MOFFOM music films at Reggae Meeting

Our hot summer season kicks off May 30-31 with music film screenings at Reggae Meeting in Točník southwest of Prague. The schedule includes movies Sierra Leone`s Refugee All Stars; The Refugee All Stars are a multi-generational group of musicians from Sierra  Leone, living in squalor as refugees in neighboring Guinea as a result of the horrifying decade-long civil war in their native country; and Brazilian movie Samba!; this movie follows the intense six-month buildup to the world famous Carnaval of Rio de Janeiro through several diverse and eccentric characters; and also world music videos from LinkTV. MOFFOM’s traveling film and video show will stop at several other music festivals this summer; we’ll have more news here as programs are confirmed.
